Half way through or the symbolic matter of the number 3
My dear beloved human beings,
What a trip this is !
It took obviously more time than expected to cross central america considering the size of it (should have got back to world Atlas before catching my flight...) and the tons of beautiful stuffs to see !
But still, i'm glad I accessed the southern part of the continent before May.
A big thought to my Eva d'amour which I haven't heard of for way too long already, my Soumouwe west indies fine Pizza maker, the love revolution crew, Ibrahimovic fan clubs and all the others who made this first half clearly unforgettable !
The final days in panama were relaxing, in a city that looks like nothing else really. A mix of Cuba and Miami with old colonial buildings and modern skyscrappers on the beach. Great parties at Lunas Castle, in order to get ready before the sailing trip to Colombia... (pics coming later...)
Thatw as an amazing experience as we had the opportunity to spend a night on a isolated island populated by Kunas people, the last indigenous tribe in this part of the world. We also needed to get a break 'cause the sea was really bad and we were all soaked completly ! what do you expect, sailing with a small fishing boat, all the way down to Colombia !
So for those who want to see on a map, from Panama city to Carti, 9 in a Jeep. Then carti some random island, 9h straight.
Then, island to to Puerto Obaldia at the border. PO to Capurgana, a beautiful spot in the colombian caraibes.
It felt great to finally step on the almighty land of the andes !
Colombia appeared to be the greenest country I've ever seen ! It's just green green flashy green. And its also full of flowers all of kinds, including the beautiful girls-residents of Medellin and Cali !
I love it here, people are really nice and helpful, the landscapes wondeful and life really sweet !
crazy to think that 20 years ago, it was the deadliest country in the world. I guess the colombians have now some kind of revenge to take on their history...
That's it for today.
